Designed for larger size changes, this service focuses on extending the kilt’s aprons (the overlapping front panels) to provide additional room at the waist. The process includes:
Unpicking parts of the kilt to access and extend the aprons on both sides.
Extending the waistline with matching tartan cloth, supported by canvas and additional lining to maintain the kilt structure and finish
Pressing the entire kilt for a polished, professional finish.

For significant size changes, this service involves repositioning not only the aprons but the entire kilt’s pleats. This highly intricate and time-consuming process includes:
Unpicking the entire kilt, pleat by pleat.
